Twisted review

Tyler miller is boy that is in a lot of trouble with the cops. He got in massive trouble for spray painting Washington high school.Washindgtn If he wasn’t on probation he would probly party a lot more but he can’t. Tyler has a sister named Hannah and his mom is just a regular mom protective etc... His dad is best described toward the end of the book. His doesn’t like the ideal that his best friend wants to date his sister. Tyler’s probation officer is extremely nice. There’s this girl that Tyler likes her name is Bethany Millbury. The incident with chip pushing Tyler into the cater is nothing compared to what happened after they get back from a certain party. Trail of Tears

The 1830 Indian Removal Act was the moving of Native American’s from east to west of the Mississippi river. Andrew Jackson moved the Native American’s because he thought it was the right thing to do but he did not know that that trail was bad to go on. A lot of Indians had to leave their homelands and it’s not like they didn’t know it was the Native Americans lands the people didn’t care. Of course a lot of the Native Americans died during the trails of tears.

Chains Book Review

Ashley Morris English book talk on Chains
The title of this book is Chains you would like to know why because a young girl is chained in slavery. The author of this book is Laurie Halse Anderson who also wrote the books speak twisted and catalyst. Where is the setting it takes place in Rhode Island and in New York. I want to say it was between 1776-1777. The culture was very sad it was all about slavery and fighting between two bands of people the rebels and the patriots. The main character is Isabel she’s the brave young girl that the author talks about the most the reason is she the little girl that crossed the lines so many times that ms.lockton was drove crazy cause of Isabel lack of not being stupid so in your face Ms. Lockton. Isabel becomes very strong and gains a lot more courage then she’ll ever be in her life. Ms. Lockton is the one who’s always onto Isabel every time Mr. Lockton would let her mad Ms. Lockton beats Isabel even for the smallest thing s she beats Isabel even if the wind don’t blow the why she wants it. The author’s hook is she will keep you guessing and guessing till your head explodes. Then just when you think they’re so close to be being free a twist comes along. When miss finch died she had a family member come and take the girls (Isabel and Ruth) the man that was a family member he sold them to a really mean witch of a lady. Then Ruth and Isabel were split up. Ruth got sold and Isabel was worried about her cause she got sold to a couple and Isabel has no clue where she is Isabel think the couple is beating her. One theme to this story is slavery I would say that is the main theme. One lesson I’ve learned is to respect other races. Isabel has been staying with the Lockton since she got sold by Mr. Roberts but she’s suppose to be free and her sister Ruth but one of the girls get sold.
